The story behind it

More than a café. A commons.

Every small town needs a place where the day naturally gathers: somewhere to start the morning, meet a friend, bring the kids on a Saturday. Taylors Commons is our plan for that place on Main Street.

Why Main Street

Main Street is where a town meets itself. When there is a good reason to be there (warm bread in the morning, a reliable cup of coffee, a table to sit at for as long as you like) people come back, and they bring their neighbors. Businesses around them do better too.

Taylors has the street, the history and the people. What we want to add is the everyday reason to stop.

A modern “third place”

Home is the first place and work is the second. The third place is everywhere else we gather, and it is what makes a town feel like a community rather than a set of addresses. Taylors Commons is designed to be that for Taylors: open, unhurried, and welcoming to everyone.

Three things, under one roof

The bakehouse. Naturally leavened breads, pastries and seasonal bakes, made with care. More about the bakery →

The café. Thoughtfully sourced coffee, expertly prepared, and always better when shared.

The commons. A welcoming space for neighbors, families, friends and visitors: room to linger, to meet, and to host the small moments that make a town.

Where it's headed

Taylors Commons is a potential new space on Main Street, with a 2027 vision for opening. We are working with lenders and partners now to bring it to life.
